Our Favorite Places in South
Walton County
 |
The entire South Walton County is our
favorite place. This is why we live here, work here and hope to die here. I've told my
wife, there may be more beautiful places to live but none we could afford. There are over
16,000 state-owned acres in South Walton County and even though the area is developing
rapidly there are many areas of pristine, undeveloped land. As you take this cybertour of
our favorite places, you'll be happy to know no sea oats were stepped on or otherwise
harmed in in the making of this photo documentary. |

If you like nature, wildlife, deserted
beaches and lush vegetation, you'll love Deer
Lake State Park Although all of Seaside is remarkable both
conceptually and architecturally, our favorite part of this neighbor to the east is Ruskin Place Artist's Colony. |

| The beautiful, antebellum Eden State Gardens is located on the bay instead of
the beach, and many visitors miss it. But we don't want you to. |
