Hibiscus Guesthouse offers 12 distinct room accommodations, each adorned with a charming vintage ambiance reminiscent of 1950s Old Florida. Distinguished as the only Vintage Old-Florida hotel in the 30A area providing three pet-friendly rooms and three condo flat-styled rooms. Our rooms boast comprehensive amenities, including satellite TV, a mini or full-sized refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee pot, iron and ironing board, private bath, a blow-dryer, and WiFi. As a delightful addition, a scrumptious breakfast is available at our on-site Cafe. Now operated by local vegan eatery Raw & Juicy.

Woodpecker Cottage

The Woodpecker Cottage has a queen-size bed and a small living area that provides a nice view of the garden.
Turner Room
Queen Bed, Sleeps 2
The Turner Room has a queen-size bed and is just off the screened-in deck upstairs and overlooks the cafe courtyard.
Tropical Bird Room
King Bed, Sleeps 4
The Tropical Bird has a king-size bed and a separate living area with sleeper-sofa. It can accommodate up to 4 guests and shares a full kitchen with the Romance Room room.
Romance Room
King Bed, Sleeps 4
The Romance Room has a king-size bed and a separate living area with a sleeper sofa. It can accommodate up to 4 guests and shares a full kitchen with the Tropical Bird room.
Old Florida Room
Ground Floor, Queen Bed, Sleeps 2
The Old Florida room has a queen-size bed and can sleep 2 guests. It includes a small kitchenette.
Magnolia Room
Queen Bed, Sleeps 2
The Magnolia Room, on the second floor, has a queen-size bed and a shower but no tub. This is our “coziest” room, giving perhaps, the quaint feel of staying at Grandma’s house for the holiday.
Hibiscus Room
King Bed, Sleeps 3
One of our more spacious rooms, the Hibiscus Room has a king-size bed and a roll-away cot which can accommodate a third guest.
Funky Bird Room
Ground Floor, Pet Friendly, Queen Bed, Sleeps 2
The Funky Bird Room has a queen-size bed and can sleep 2 guests. It has a small kitchenette and is one of our 3 pet-friendly accommodations.
Flat Two
Flat, Ground Floor, King Bed, Pet Friendly, Sleeps 4
Flat Two is a first floor, one bedroom apartment with a king-size bed, and a sleeper sofa. It will accommodate 4 guests. It is one of our 3 pet-friendly accommodations.
Flat Three

Flat Three is a one-bedroom apartment with a king-size bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room. It will accommodate 4 guests.
Flat Four

Flat Four is a one-bedroom apartment with a king-size bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. It will accommodate 4 guests.
Big Easy Room
Ground Floor, Pet Friendly, Queen Bed, Sleeps 2, Wheelchair Access
The Big Easy Room is a fully handicap accessible room. With a queen-size bed, it can accommodate 2 guests and has a large bathroom and a big shower to accommodate our guests who use a wheelchair.

Very laidback beachy vibe. Interesting layout of the property and very secluded tucked away in an area of grayton beach with nearby amenities, shops and restaurants walking distance. Tram service to the beach is free and they pick you up right across the street from the Hibiscus. Runs till 10 PM at night. Runs every 10 minutes so there’s never a long wait. Free breakfast in the morning in the café and it’s always delicious. The staff is so nice and friendly. We discovered the hibiscus a few years ago and returned this year for another great stay.

I’m so happy I booked the Magnolia Room for 6 nights in July and passed up a regular hotel. The room was perfect for me or a couple. I slept wonderfully from night one. The bed offered support but also softness that I’ve been struggling to achieve in my own bed! So peaceful and quiet. The staff were very helpful and kind and the breakfast choices interesting and delicious. I loved all the antique touches with the lamps being a favorite. The tables in the breakfast room just like my Grandma had. Loved that breakfast was included and service very quick and friendly. The grounds had plenty of cozy seating areas amongst beautiful surroundings. Also location was perfect close by to many shops and restaurants .
I plan on making this my new “happy place “.

An wonderful cozy little coffee shop. I drink a lot of coffee and their drip coffee was great! The interior is cute and well decorated, lots of cozy “grandma’s house” vibes. The people serving were polite and courteous and their garden was lovely. We will definitely come back on our next trip. ❤️

Quaint inn with lots of charm. The Romance room has a fabulous Jacuzzi tub. So convenient to have a café on site and it’s just a short walk to the beach and tiny downtown area with several great restaurants. Definitely recommend The Red Bar. We had a wonderful 39th anniversary stay!

For over a decade, we have been staying at Hibiscus Cafe and Guest House every time we visit the beaches along 30A, and we have consistently enjoyed our experiences there.
We appreciate their love for their place and the consistent service they provide. The boutique-style B&B guest rooms offer a unique and enjoyable experience compared to the highly commercial rental properties and hotels in the area. The breakfast menu is always a highlight, with the waffles being a particular favorite of ours, loaded with fresh fruits and yummy peanut butter. The location is also ideal, within walking distance of the beach and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The attentive staff are always ready to make your vacation relaxing and memorable. Overall, we highly recommend Hibiscus Cafe and Guest House for anyone looking for a charming and enjoyable stay along 30A.

We loved our stay! We recently stayed 3 nights in Flat 4 and everything was great. Check in was easy, room was very clean and well furnished, and the decor was super cute! We really enjoyed free breakfast in the morning and the plants all around the grounds. The room was very quiet, comfortable, and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Lots of close restaurants near to walk to and a close corner store.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the Guesthouse. Our room, The Funky Bird, was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great visit. The breakfast provided at the cafe, Raw and Juicy, was so fresh and delicious. Being able to eat outside in the garden each morning was wonderful. Thank you for a relaxing visit.

We had a great stay at Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse. Our room, Flat 4, was exactly as advertised. The furnishings were reminiscent of Old Florida and very well done. All of the staff made us feel very welcome. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a more laid back atmosphere on 30a.

This is such a hidden gem! Is it the Ritz? No but it’s charming, beachy and convenient to the beach, bars and restaurants. We stayed in the Tropical Bird room and shared a kitchen with friends who stayed in the Romance Room. Both rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The restaurant next door was delicious!

Since 2011, Hibiscus Guest House has been our cherished haven every time we venture to the enchanting 30A area. The hotel staff, with their unwavering warmth, friendliness, and eagerness to cater to our needs, have made each stay a true delight. Hibiscus holds a special corner in our hearts, just as it does for countless others who have graced its welcoming embrace over the years.
Oh, the memories of waffle wonders, egg frittatas, and biscuits & gravy linger fondly in our minds. With the arrival of new management at the guest house cafe, offering most breakfast menu items inclusive for house guests (excluding specialty drinks), we eagerly anticipate new culinary adventures while cherishing the familiar flavors of the past.
While some of the guest rooms may benefit from a touch of upkeep to maintain their timeless charm, the overall allure of this beautiful and nostalgic place remains unwavering. i stayed in the turner room which was perfect for my solo vacation! the clawfoot tub was wonderful after a long day of driving, the screened in porch was cozy, and the backyard was so cutely decorated with lots of space to sit and read or chat with people or enjoy breakfast! it’s a quick beautiful walk to the perfect beach. it was my first stay but won’t be my last!

The most relaxed vacation I’ve EVER had!!! The room was comfortable, clean and provided everything we needed “Funky Bird”. Quick bike ride to the Grayton Beach public beach access. Everyone was friendly, and breakfast provided with your stay was a plus!! Close to many great restaurants. I would stay here again and again!!

Hibiscus room was a large and comfortable room. I think an upgrade on the sheets would be good. Breakfast fantastic. Wonderful setting for a walk. Beach gorgeous. Everyone needs to eat at The Red Barn. Portions are huge. We split one. It can get very busy.
Loved our little get away and would return.

We stayed here for 3 nights during spring break and we will absolutely be back!! Perfect location! Can walk to the beach or ride the tram if you have lots of things! Tram location is very close and convenient! The tram makes beach access no issue! We also walked to The Red Bar from our room! The room was spotless! Staff was very friendly!! We have nothing but positive things to say!

The Hibiscus is a peaceful oasis on 30A. Quiet, clean and convenient to walk to restaurants or bike to seaside.The rooms are homey and comfortable. The walk to the beach is beautiful. The breakfast is very good. We cannot wait to return soon.

We love Hibiscus! Our room was just as described. Very cozy. I would just say that adding a shelf in the bathroom would be helpful to keep toiletries on it. Also, tub is just a little hard to get in and out if you are an older person. I would highly recommend the hibiscus as it is in a great location and so beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast is the best too. This was our second stay and I am already to go back again.
